I designed a mechanical poker chip dispenser with an emphasis on precise tolerancing, GD&T, and design for manufacturability. The system required careful control of fits, clearances, and alignment to ensure smooth chip dispensing and repeatable operation across assemblies. I applied geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to critical features to account for realistic machining variation and to communicate design intent clearly on drawings. Through multiple design iterations, I evaluated manufacturability, assembly sequence, and part interaction, strengthening my ability to design components that function reliably when produced using standard manufacturing processes.
